INDEPENDENT & AUTONOMOUS SUPPLY WITH HYDROGEN



The VDI Technology Center assumes that Germany will need around 80 million tons of H2 per year by 2050. We are committed to ensuring that a significant proportion of this demand is covered by locally produced green hydrogen in order to guarantee an independent and sustainable supply and strengthen national energy independence. We are convinced that the promotion of SMEs will make a significant contribution to Germany achieving these ambitious goals. Small, regional hydrogen supplies are the future for energy-intensive production facilities. The solution enables an efficient switch to hydrogen, the CO2-free energy source of tomorrow.

H2-CHANCEN-WORKSHOP

Baseline-Analyse

In a first workshop, we will analyse your current production line regarding energy use, cost and equipment and project this onto the next 10 years. We will define a possible scope for your own hydrogen plant.

Plant Modelling/ Design

On the basis of Phase 1, we will model a first hydrogen plant that will have the capacity to supply your current energy consumption with green hydrogen within the defined scope.

Technical Migration Planning 

Based on Phase 1+2, we will conduct a feasability study and develop a technical migration plan taking into consideration system design, optimization, safety and compliance.

Financial Planning 

Based on the technical migration plan, we will provide a first cost estimate for implementation, an overview of potential public funding opportunities as well as an ROI calculation.
